What are access numbers, and which one do I use?

Local Access Numbers

Below is a full list of our local access numbers. These numbers are dialed when you are located in that city. (for example: if you are in Sydney, then you dial the Sydney access number)  When dialing to a local access number a local call cost will apply to the phone you are calling from (i.e home phone). If dialing from a pay phone 50 cents will be required. We strongly recommend using a local access number or free Voip access.

1300 National Access Number

The 1300 National Access Number can be used from anywhere in Australia. You would use this number if the city you are in does not have a local access number listed. When using the 1300 National Access number, your phone will be charged a one off fee of 30c from home phones and 50cents from pay phones - depending on your plan. An additional charge of 5c per minute will be deducted from your calling card.

1800 Convenience Number

The 1800 Convenience number is designed to be used from any pay phone in Australia without the need for coins to call to the access number. When using the 1800 access number an additional surcharge of 10 cents per minute is deducted from your calling card instead. It can also be used from home phones where the user doesn’t want to have any local call charges added to their home phone account. (the 1800 access number cannot be accessed from mobile phones)

Using your Mobile

You can call our local and 1300 access numbers from your mobile phone, but you will be charged by your mobile carrier for the full duration of the call. We suggest you confirm the cost of this before using your mobile with our calling cards to avoid excessive bills. If possible use your card from a fixed phone line to get the best value from our service.
